This transfer bench is designed to help users move safely over the edge of a bathtub. It features a seat that slides along a sturdy rail system, reducing the need for the user to lift their legs over the tub wall. The seat also swivels 360 degrees to allow for easy entry and exit.
The frame is built for heavy-duty use with a weight capacity of 500 lbs. It includes pivoting arms that can be moved out of the way during transfers and then locked back into place for support while bathing. The height-adjustable legs ensure the bench can be leveled with the height of the tub.
Safety is prioritized with non-slip surfaces and a secure locking mechanism for the sliding rail. This small-sized model is intended to fit into standard bathroom layouts while providing the high weight support required for bariatric use. It is a functional tool for those with significant mobility challenges.
